My take on the 1967 Supa Fuzz / MKII Tone Bender
The Supa Fuzz / MKII is a three transistor fuzz manufactured in England in the late 1960’s. The circuit is partly derived from the iconic 1966 germanium Fuzz Face and shares the latter two transistor stages in common. The Supa Fuzz has more output , gain, and sustain than its predecessor, and a distinct tone owing to the impedance relationship between the pickups and input stage. The circuit is highly interactive with the guitar volume and features a bias control to alter the character of the fuzz; putting a range of classic fuzz tones and textures at your fingertips.
