A hand wired reproduction of the 1965 Hornby Skewes Zonk Machine in a hammered blue repro enclosure. The Zonk is a close cousin of the MKI Tone Bender with more splat and gain than its predecessor. The circuit is true to the original with the addition of a gain knob that adjusts the gain up or down from the stock gain setting. This pedal features a hybrid of 60’s New Market NKT and Mullard CV germanium transistors, new old stock Eromak and Sprague capacitors, and carbon composition resistors hand wired on a phenolic eyelet board. Power with internal battery or standard isolated 9V jack.
